在全球经济一体化趋势日益加强的今天，经济的发展与产业间的经济影响作用越来越明显。会展活动作为人类物质文化交流的重要形式，种类丰富多彩，涉及范围广泛，并以其鲜明的特点，影响着人类社会的各个领域。在会展活动中，借助会展的平台，有利于加强区域间的资源、人才、技术等的要素流动，大大地促进了区域经济的发展。本文将选取长三角最具有代表性的城市之一-宁波，通过数据搜寻，运用中国会展经济研究所推出的年度“中国城市展览业发展指数”，对宁波会展经济进行现状和竞争力分析，进而探讨其会展经济对区域经济的促进作用。结论建议宁波加快会展行业品牌化、国际化进程，并加强相关产业合作及发挥政府作用，从而来大力推进宁波会展经济。

With the increasing trend of global economic integration, the economic development and the economic influence between industries are becoming more and more obvious. As an important form of material cultural exchange, the exhibition activities are rich and varied, covering a wide range, and affecting all fields of human society with its distinct characteristics. In the exhibition activities, the platform of exhibition is helpful to strengthen the flow of resources, talents, and technology among regions, and greatly promote the development of regional economy. This paper selects one of the most representative cities in the Yangtze River Delta, using the annual status and competitiveness of “China Exhibition Industry Development Index” for the analysis of Ningbo convention and exhibition economy to discuss the role of exhibition economy on regional economy. The conclusions suggest Ningbo speed up the branding and internationalization process of exhibition industry, strengthen relevant industry cooperation and play the role of the government so as to vigorously promote the exhibition economy of Ningbo City.
