非英语专业本科生英语学习焦虑与英语学习策略的研究
A Study of English Learning Anxiety and English Learning Strategies of Non-English Major Undergraduates
外语焦虑与其他焦虑并不相同。一般认为外语焦虑与学校和社会情境中的表现与评量有关,也与语言教室学习相关,其源于语言学习的独特性。本文通过对160名大学各年级非英语专业本科生,进行有关英语学习焦虑和英语学习策略的问卷调查,分析讨论学生英语学习焦虑与英语学习策略的关系。研究表明非英语专业本科生的英语的焦虑现状和英语学习策略使用情形均属于中等程度,英语焦虑程度与英语学习策略呈现负相关。依据研究发现,本文对教学单位和英语教师提出相关建议,以供英语教育工作者参考。

Foreign language anxiety is not the same as other anxiety. It is generally believed that foreign language anxiety is related to the performance of school and social situation, as well as to language classroom learning, which stems from the uniqueness of language learning. This paper analyzes the relationship between students’ English learning anxiety and their English learning strategies by conducting a questionnaire survey among 160 non-English major undergraduates. The results show that the non-English majors’ English anxiety and the use of English learning strategies are moderate, and the degree of English anxiety is negatively correlated with English learning strategies. Based on the findings of the study, this paper puts forward some suggestions for teaching institutions and English teachers.
