本文采用DEA-Malmquist指数计算2006~2020年福建省9个地级市的经济发展效率，通过数据分析发现：福建省经济效率的Malmquist指数均值为0.988，其分解技术效率变化值0.999和技术进步变化值0.989，各自下降了0.1%和1.1%；不同城市间经济效率差异较大，城市发展不平衡，其中厦门市的经济效率全省最好，经济发展水平较高。本研究结果建议各城市应充分利用各生产要素调整优化产业结构，提高规模效率；应加大科研投资，促进生产技术进步；应加强各区域间的交流与合作，实现区域均衡和经济持续发展。

DEA-Malmquist index is used in this study to calculate the economic development efficiency of 9 prefecture-level cities in Fujian Province from 2006 to 2020. Through data analysis, it is found that the mean value of Malmquist index of economic efficiency in Fujian Province was 0.988, and the change value of decomposition technical efficiency was 0.999 and that of technological progress was 0.989, decreasing by 0.1% and 1.1% respectively. There are great differences in economic efficiency among different cities, and urban development is unbalanced. Among them, Xiamen's economic efficiency is the best in the province and the level of economic development is higher. Results of this study suggest that all cities should make full use of various factors of production to adjust and optimize industrial structure to improve scale efficiency, increase investment in scientific research to promote production technology progress, and strengthen exchanges and cooperation among regions to achieve regional balance and sustainable economic development.
