English Medium Instruction and CLIL: A Subject Teacher Perspective

本文探讨大学经济商管EMI专业教学与语言学习,从科目教师的视角出发。我从教学经验与英语学习背景进行反思,阐明何谓有效、有趣、有分析性(analytical as interesting)的专业内容教学,并建议以CLIL当成理论基础与实践参考。本文期待科目教师能结合外语训练、中文素养、与经济商管专业,并寻求语言教师语言教学的专业协助。

I share my experience as subject teacher of economics and business courses at college EMI settings, and personal learning of the English language. I explain my idea of “analytical as interesting” related to content selection. I suggest CLIL as the teaching method, and encourage subject teachers to find help from language professionals.
